Durable & Efficient
Our REAL LOG CABINS are incredibly durable and high-quality, beautiful and cozy, and moveable too!

In addition to being beautiful and romantic, logs are considered to be an extremely energy-efficient building material due to the thousands of tiny air pockets which are trapped in every cubic inch of the cellular structure. These air pockets slow the transfer of heat through the log, helping keep your log home warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
Easy to Move
The cabins are built on skids making them easy to transport and giving you the option to add the cabin to a permanent foundation OR to keep it on skids if you might move it or sell it later on.
And although the cabins are moveable, they really blend into the environment! We think our cabins are an excellent choice for people who want ease and affordability but are looking to avoid the temporary/mobile look of a tiny home on wheels or an elevated manufactured home.

Customizable
Whether you want a basic cabin shell, a fully-finished cabin ready for guests, or something in between, we can customize your cabin to be delivered at whatever stage of construction that you need and prefer.
Our standard model fully-finished cabins are 14x28 feet and include plumbing and electrical that hook right up to normal septic and electrical systems. The length can be extended to accommodate a second bedroom, and you could move the front door to the long side of the building.

Examples of components that may be customized are the roof color, kitchen cabinet color, interior wall layout, whether you want a laundry room and closets, window size and style, door size and style, bathroom design, and the flooring material and color.

Need your cabin off-grid? We can customize the design to be compatible with fully or partially off-grid living.
Beautiful & Eco-Friendly
Unless a clear coat or particular stain product is requested, we suggest a non-toxic wood treatment that creates a really nice rustic color. Unlike other stains, this is a "no-maintenance stain" meaning no need to ever scrape, re-stain or worry about fading or wear. It is non-toxic, environmentally friendly, and made from naturally occurring plants and minerals.

For chinking, we use a synthetic water-based elastomeric material that is designed to look like traditional mortar chinking. Synthetic chinking is much more flexible, and once dried it still maintains an elastic feel to it which prevents cracking and is especially important since our cabins are mobile!
​
We personally love the traditional look of a cabin with chinking on the interior and exterior paired with the rustic brown color that the wood treatment creates! But if you’d prefer the cabin without chinking on the interior and/or exterior, that’s certainly possible.
