Each cabin is thoughtfully designed with small spaces in mind, and built to be super durable using high-quality materials.
Durable & Efficient
In addition to being beautiful and romantic, logs are considered to be an extremely energy-efficient building material due to the thousands of tiny air pockets that are trapped in every cubic inch of the cellular structure. These air pockets slow the transfer of heat through the log, helping keep your log home warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

All of our windows are double-pane and we use R30 insulation in the roof and subfloor. Our cabins also come standard with 26g metal roof and a 100 lb snow load (snow load can be increased if needed).
Easy to Move
The cabins are built on skids making them easy to transport and giving you the option to place the cabin on a permanent foundation or keep it on skids if you might move it or sell it later on.
Although the cabins are moveable, they really blend into the natural environment! We think our cabins are an excellent choice for people who want ease, flexibility, and affordability but also want to avoid the temporary look of a tiny home on wheels lower-quality look of an elevated manufactured or mobile home.

Customizable
Our fully-finished cabins range from 14x28 feet to 14x42 feet. They include plumbing and electrical systems that hook up to normal septic and electrical systems, can be plugged into an RV receptacle, or can be set up for off-grid living.
The cabins are available in studio, one-bedroom or two-bedroom layouts with 1-bathroom or 1.5-bathrooms. Storage and sleeping lofts may be added.

This is your dream cabin so we want the aesthetics to reflect your personal style and design preferences. Examples of components that may be customized are the roof color, kitchen cabinet color, interior wall layout, whether you want a laundry room and closets, window size and style, door size and style, bathroom design, and the flooring material and color.
Beautiful & Eco-Friendly
Unless a clear coat or particular stain product is requested, we suggest a non-toxic wood treatment that creates a really nice rustic color. Unlike other stains, this is a "no-maintenance stain" meaning no need to ever scrape, re-stain or worry about fading or wear. It is non-toxic, environmentally friendly, and made from naturally occurring plants and minerals.

For chinking, we use a synthetic water-based elastomeric material that is designed to look like traditional mortar chinking. Synthetic chinking is much more flexible, and once dried it still maintains an elastic feel to it which prevents cracking and is especially important since our cabins are mobile!

We personally love the traditional look of a cabin with chinking on the interior and exterior paired with the rustic brown color that the wood treatment creates! But if you’d prefer the cabin without chinking on the interior and/or exterior, that’s certainly possible.
QUALITY MATERIALS
Our cabins are carefully crafted using Douglas fir for our logs, which offer an excellent strength-to-weight ratio that makes it a fine choice for log homes built in areas prone to storms, high winds, and earthquakes.

You can choose to have your cabin constructed with 7-inch, 8-inch, 9-inch, or 10-inch logs.
For the joinery, you can choose the standard butt and pass style corners, or upgrade to dovetail corners.
SKILLED CRAFTSMANSHIP
​Those involved in the process of creating these high-quality and attractive log cabins have decades of woodworking, lumber milling, residential construction, commercial construction, project management, and finish carpentry experience.
For example, the interior finishing is primarily done by a carpenter with 25+ years of experience and the log shell builder/supervisor has 30+ years of experience. Electrical and plumbing are subbed out to specialty contractors. All cabin shells are built using professionally engineered plans.
